Party Makeup with Bobbi Brown

Christmas time..mistletoe and wine...say hello to the most sociable time of the year with office parties, Christmas festivals and reunions. And as well as all the fun times catching up and, of course, Santa spotting, I get really excited about this time of year because it's also the opportunity for pushing the boat out with party makeup. To be honest, I think I would most likely look like an extra from Strictly Come Dancing if I had the time.

Because the balance between dialling up the glamour and slotting it in between work, families and the rest can be tricky. There are those lucky - and dexterous - enough to be able to do show-stopping looks in the blink of an eye; You Tube is always a great resource for those looking for videos on easy, how-to-do looks.

Aerin fragrances

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Aerin Lauder is one classy lady. The images which accompany her eponymous product range reflect this, giving a sense of the lady behind the AERIN products.

The One Spa Edinburgh - All Wrapped Up spa package

I’m floating in water, overlooking the Edinburgh Conference Centre, my body submerged in the balmy waters of the Hydropool at the Sheraton’s Escape at One. As blissful days go, this has been right up there, time has stood still and this is the final section of what’s been a five star pampering journey.

It began earlier in the day with the All Wrapped Up spa package at the One Spa. Back after a booked out season last winter, it offers people the chance to treat and pamper neglected and winter weary limbs with a trio of treatments before soaking away stress in Escape at One – the area of the spa that includes two different saunas, the Hydropool and much more. But more on that later.
