Iconic Looks - Madonna

So far she's flashed her boobs, bared her bottom and aggravated the French far right so when Madonna takes to the stage at Edinburgh's Murrayfield this week, I'm really hoping it won't be boring. The age-defying singer is on her MDNA tour, which kicked off May 29th in Tel Aviv and since then, she's played to crowds in 13 different countries. And come this Saturday, she's in Scotland. So in honour of her Madgesty's Scottish appearance, I decided to take a look at Madonna's most iconic looks, and I asked MAC's senior makeup artist, the lovely Lesley Keane, to explain how to recreate these looks. Everyone ready? VOGUE.

First up, it is, of course, the look from the Blonde Ambition tour in the 1990s. Wearing her Jean-Paul Gaultier pointed corset, platinum ponytail and headset, Madonna rocked a bold look, including a now famous MAC lipstick. Lesley says:

Kiehl's store opens in Scotland

Kiehls store opens in Scotland

Edinburgh is getting a slice of the Big Apple thanks to the new Kiehl's store, set to be the brand's biggest in Europe. Yowser. Kiehl's, which was founded in New York's East Village in 1851, has just opened the airy shop on the capital's George Street, next to the Assembly Rooms venue. And alongside the skincare and hair ranges, there's also a coffee bar, men's barber area and treatment section in there. It's a first for Scotland as the new Edinburgh store is the first stand-alone one here - although isn't not like we've been starved of Kiehl's products as there are concessions including in Jenners, Glasgow's House of Fraser and SpaceNK. However it does look like Kiehl's is making up for missing Scotland off their store map, because this new one is the largest in Europe. And talk about looking pretty, isn't it gawjus:

It was a busy schedule for the tanning pop-up, which kicked off in London in the middle of June, and the experts on-board. Aside from London and Glasgow, it stopped off in Birmingham and Manchester before finishing up in Dublin last weekend, all in a bid to keep Britain - and Ireland- bronzed.
